Best Rock Songs about God and Satan

So, reading about Sara Evans' ex husband being accused of being possessed by Satan got me thinking about some of the awesome songs about Satan, and I decided to make a list. Then, of course, you can't have a list of songs about the devil without making a list of songs about God. Because I think that's the sort of thing that might land you in hell, you know? So I made one of those too, just to be safe.

A caveat, God/Jesus or Satan have to be the main subjects of the song, not just have their name in it. Hence, The Beach Boys' 'God Only Knows' is not here. Neither is Beck's 'Devil's Haircut.'

Without further ado, here are the best songs about God and Satan.  I stuck to rock, mostly and avoided gospel because, well, those are all about God.

Songs about God
Gloria, U2 (1981): U2's music is often religiously themed and, before they were the most famous band in the world, they released this single.

''Gloria in te domine, Gloria exultate. Oh Lord, if I had anything, anything at all, I'd give it to you, I'd give it to you.''

The obvious crack to make here is about how he wouldn't have to give anything away. Among the Bono jokes to be found online:

Q: What's the difference between God and Bono?
A: God knows he's not Bono. Heh. (credit: Getty Images)

Finally..
Miss Cal
You put Motley Crue into your galleries but then, you get the year wrong. Shout At the Devil was from the album of the same name, which was released in 1983, not 1986. If anything, the guys were promoting Theater Of Pain and writing the songs for Girls, Girls, Girls.

Please correct this simple mistake.
At least you tried.

Thank you. =)

No Chris de Burgh?

Why are there no Chris de Burgh songs in here? Almost all of his songs have some religious overtone and they are just so great!!!! ("Spanish Train"," Don't Pay the Ferryman", "Spaceman Came Travelling" among others)
