Dancing Before They Were Stars
So, you think you can dance, eh? These folks certainly did – and most of them were quite good at it before they embarked on their careers as singers. Here is a list of some of our favourite dancer-turned-singers:
Photo 1 of 10
JENNIFER LOPEZ – J. Lo actually started her career as a Fly Girl on the TV show In Living Color. Lil miss Jenny From The Block also appeared as a backup dancer for several high profile artists in the early 90’s (she danced for The New Kids On The Block at the American Music Awards in ’91, and she figured prominently in the video for Janet Jackson’s That’s The Way Love Goes). The rest is history - she eventually became a massive superstar singer and actress, and she is also a recent mom (Lopez gave birth to fraternal twins on February 22, 2008 - a girl and a boy, named Emme and Max). Then in a bizarre turn of events, as you can see from this picture, she also gave birth to a fully grown man while performing at Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin' Eve at Times Square this year!

Did a great job in Cell Block Tango, in the movie adaptation of Chicago, too.

Where are more men? K-Fed, for god's sake!! Doesn't anyone remember that Gordon Lightfoot was a dancer in the '60's on, I think, Don Messer's Jubilee. Sorry, Canadian content.

Um, notice how all the references were more recent? Like having done something in the last 10 years? I'm all for throwing around the Canadian content, but at least find a reference that fits into the category?

Holy shit dude or whatever you are. What language are you trying to write here. If that's english, I seriously suggest you go back to elementary school. You're in serious need of some language lessons...in fact, all of them.
To the posters who can't write - F**k, I am getting so sick and tired of the lack of language skills so many posters possess. No caps, no punctuation, no basic sentence skills. I'm surprised so many of you have jobs. I'm assuming you do. No surprise for those who don't. You'll never get a great job unless you've got at least basic language skills.
GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!
