Rock Star Baby Names Gone Wrong
Naming your children can be a daunting task, because you are essentially deciding the path of their life with that one big decision. Jerry Seinfeld spelled it out in one of his stand up moments on his show: “I think when you name a baby Jeeves, you've pretty much mapped out his future, wouldn't you say? Not much chance he is gonna be a hitman I think after that”. In fact, studies have shown that there is a correlation between weird names and crime. In the professional journal Social Science Quarterly, Shippensburg University professor David Kalist says giving newborn boys unusual first names makes them more likely to land in jail. Kalist and his associate, Daniel Lee looked at 15,000 names given to baby boys between 1987 and 1991. The more unusual the name, the more likely that boy is to commit a crime. So, why do we subject our little ones to this type of unfair treatment? Celebrities are the biggest culprits for this strange behavior – they love to give the weirdest names to their offspring, for example: Nicholas Cage named his son Kal-El Coppola; Penn Jillette from comedy/magic duo Penn and Teller named his daughter Moxie CrimeFighter; and Puck from the Real World called his son Bogart Che Peyote. Seriously, why would you subject your children to that kind of torture??

ASHLEE SIMPSON & PETE WENTZ – Little BRONX MOWGLI will probably lead a charmed life (despite the unfortunate name)… he’s got some decent genes, and hopefully he’ll have his dad’s music skills (Pete plays bass for Fall Out Boy). If not, he can always take lip-sync lessons from mama Ashlee, and if all else fails, I am sure there he can tag along with aunt Jessica while she films her pimple cream infomercials and learn the tricks of the trade from her between stops at the Burger Joint!
