Grammy Snubs and Surprises

The Grammy Awards are coming up on January 31. And, as usual, there are a few snubs and surprises (some even pleasant!) among the nominees, announced just over a month ago. Let's take a look at these as we prepare to root for our favourite artists, those that made the list anyway.

Jessi Alexander and John Mabe: 'The Climb,' written by Jessi Alexander and John Mabe and made famous by Miley Cyrus, was nominated in the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category, but the Recording Academy then learned that the track wasn't actually written specifically for 'Hannah Montana: The Movie.' So it was disqualified. In a happy turn of events, 'All Is Love,' by Karen O and Nick Zinner took its place. And well, yay. (credit: Getty Images)

Susan L. Regina,
With his snub attempt towards Taylor Swift, I think he needs a lot of help for a great many things. The biggest one of those would be keep his opinions off the stage and away of winners at award shows. If he can not give the respect to the winners or losers that he demands for himself from everyone, well, maybe he does not deserve being there.

He should be able to destroy his career this year if he gets anywhere near the stage at the Grammys.
