Discuss Metro Station's performance at Orange Lounge.

I have seen them live three times, and all three times they sounded much better than this gig....off night perhaps? Although I will say Trace cannot sing, nor can he really talk in key....he has been pathetic every show. Mason on the other hand actually can sing, and this was sub-par for him I think. Anyways, fun band to listen to and that si all the really matters.

Miley's brother and Mitchel's brother look so hot and cute!
Kim says:
Wow. Uhm. I really do enjoy their music, but this performance is brutal. Like, really brutal. I had to turn it off...It actually hurts my ears. Clearly the album underwent a lot of engineering if this is what they sound like in reality. You can tell a band is truly talented when they are just as good if not better live. This is not one of them.

80's cheese - like platinum blonde or haywire - the tattoo boy needs to take singing lessons

All I can say is...you can always tell a good band when they sound exactly the same live as they do on their Albums. Only when they do it live...it should be twice as good as the album. Sounds like these guys need to shake up their vocals a bit.

they are amazubf im seeing you again in 22 days its my 3rd time im ur #1 fan search that on google its me...
stacey says:
this is sounds AWFUL haha they can't sing! especially the long-haired guy! he's just talking...out of key! this isn't spoken word! oh man...

ug. I don't even really believe this an actual band. Is it? It seems like some cheesy parody of some old 80s band.
Michelle says:
I saw them live with Simple Plan and thought they sounded good. I like their cd but this doesn't sound too great. It's okay but i think the sound quality and it being a live performance makes it sound worse. Trace sounds like he's talking. I do like Metro Station though so this is okay...
Sel says:
I did go to this concert and it was very fun :)...but i found that they sounded better live at the orange lounge than listening on the computer to these videos..i dunno thats my opinion :P...and Trace Cyrus is extremely skinny like his legs were one of my arms :P but hes okay...besides the fact that when he sings he sort of spits and some did go on my hand :P overall it was very entertaining ..and im glad that i called virgin radio and won the passes :)

Regardless of what anyone says on here people are going too love metro station and you have the haters. Personally I was at this show and it was amazaing I was caught up in the live action and had a blast. When I actually watched this at home some of the vocals aren't the greatest but you get that with every band. You have to appreciate metro station ability to get the crowd getting wild and overall always putting on amazing shows. This is 5th time seeing them and its always fun. so dont hate

I dont care wat any of u think Metro Station has 2 be my favorite band. Trace has 2 be 1 of the HOTTEST guys i've seen. I love a guy wit tats and piercings. COME 2 AUSTRALIA!!!! PLEASE.......
Michaela says:
Am I the only one who doesn't think that their vocals are terrible? Honestly? It's so bad. It's just everyone had high expectations about what they sound like because of all the editing the record companies do. Give them a break.

I abseltly love them. I met them on the 28th at hot topic and itwa samazing. They are amazing and I love them.
Craig says:
I think the responses here speaks volumes. The girls love them and the wanna-be-rock-stars are slagging them. Seems like a lot of bitterness from bands in their genre.

i think metro station, is alright live, they could ahve been better, there music is amazing, but thre vocals could been better, TRACE is alright live, but MASON is alot better than trace, trace is way to energetic, and it kinda looks like he is forgetting that he is singing, which is not very good for thm,
Dylan says:
I have seen Metro Station 3 times. They were an amazing band and great live. I saw them with Motion City Soundtrack, Cobra Starship, and Forever The Sickest Kids tours. I am really sad to say like all bands fame got to Metro Station and that they sound horrible live now and Trace doesn't even sing he talks. Ever since Shake It everything went downhill for this band, and they lost a fan and all their true fans. Do you know what makes me mad too, they changed Seventeen Forever from they CD way. :(
Dani Schrei says:
I went to this show, I loved it! And they aren't the best live, but at least they aren't horrible. In wish we were older, Around 2:57, you see someone making a heart with there hands on the left side center(it may look like a blob of hands, but its a heart), but thats me. And right after Trace says: 'I love you too, I wish you were older', that was directed to me! He looked straight at me saying that! And I'm not lying. It's the only fangirl moent I've had my whole life.
Strawberry. says:
I've seen Metro Station 4 times. I was also at this show & they were Amazing as they were each of the other times... who cares about their looks .... who cares abotu how Mason says " SHAKE" Music is Music and NOOO band sounds EXACTLY the same as they do on their C.D but Metro Station are pretty damn decent . Their probably are one of the BEST bands to see live, i say this because they give off so much ENERGY & make you want the show go on FOREVER.
